Our aim is for all children and young people to go as far as their talents and potential can take them, creating strong foundations for positive change.
To achieve this we’ve identified the following 4 priorities:
- Strengthening school leadership and the quality of teaching
- support families and improve literacy in Bradford’s primary schools, particularly for disadvantaged pupils
- invest in children and young people, through targeted programmes, to raise aspirations and help them develop essential skills for life and work
- identify and support young people with health issues that limit their capacity to learn by ensuring cross sector interventions from both health and education professionals improve early identification of and support for health issues that are limiting learning
